I’ve been playing with your code a bit more and Jython seems to be faster these days. Also, it’s possible to install the Shoebot/Nodebox libraries in Jython.

It seems <span class="caps">VERY </span>crisp. Whether you follow thorough on the structure you have set up remains to be seen, of course, but it is hard to see how a person could get such a good start and not carry on.
